Karen Kohoutek How is the prose rendering? I was actually enjoying The Faerie Queene, but I got bogged down and haven't gotten back to it.

Vincent Darlage It's wonderful. Makes it so much easier to read, with great footnotes if the prose takes something away from the poem that's worth retaining.

I'm reading a canto of the prose, then going back and reading the same canto of the poem so that I can say I read it, and that I understood it.
