Raphael didn’t think that would happen. “Hope is a good thing.”
Elena laughed. “Nice diplomatic way to tell the hormonal pregnant woman that she’s delusional.”

Their aeclari were not under threat…but they did need them.

(almost a book length epilogue, but to say goodbye to everyone and start Elena and Raphael in a new chapter it works. Also, I’m so happy for these characters!)

Yes, just yes. The era of that group will always be the best one.

“Tell Illium he’s going to have to wrangle babysitting duties into your schedule”

There's no one who adores both Elena and Raphael equally as much as Illium does.

Yep, makes sense, I knew this news would trigger both Elena's and Raphael's deepest fears.
P.S. Never seen Raphael having to sit down because of shaking legs before 🤣

Here it is. The last book. I have felt the series had come to its natural conclusion for some time, but now that the time has come I’m melancholic. A new Guild Hunter book every year has been a tradition for me for…12 years I think; which meant every year there was a reread of my favorite scenes and books (3,6,11,12...9 too). This is the end of an era and it means a lot. I don't expect that much plot, more a goodbye.
