Fun read. Boys all alone on an island and trying to survive. Just found out the author of The Hunger Games, Suzanne Collins, said Lord of the Flies is one of her favorite books! I can see it inspiring her to write her own survival Hunger Games books.

The alliance of this boy group is gradually falling apart. Less boys are obeying the rules of the leader boy. Not good. There’s always strength in numbers and weakness in splitting especially for survival.

I read this book once back in high school before I enjoyed reading for fun. I loved the book then. I decided to read it for a second time since the Netflix Lord of the Flies releases this week! Excited to watch the movie and reread the book.
