i mean this was kind of the only way he’d ever kill her for killing his second. he knew that secret and the reason her squad died. eye for an eye kinda thing. but they’re so fucked up they’d need that level of brutality to ever be able to get past this

there’s so many plot twists in this book i’m getting whiplash

did she know this whole time that she was the one who killed him ? and that’s why she said they received different orders ? or did she really not know and the plan was always to stick to the other orders story
