I’m a bit torn with this book. On the one hand, I really like the main characters. But having read the author’s previous two books with the over all vibe and overarching storylines, I feel that this particular book is out of place. Had the author written this story as a novella, or maybe even reformatted it title to not have any sort of tie with the previous two books, I think I would’ve been more accepting.
