Still totally confused as we jump from a bombing, to Andrea Finch a cop shooting a guy holding restaurant employees hostage. She is put on leave and spends it hunting down her younger brother who is again in trouble. She crosses paths with FBI agent Jon North. This book jumps around so much that I wonder if the audio chapters are out of order? Will get print copy and check before I go any further.

I am really confused. I'm going to have to find a print copy and find out if the audible is just not in the right order or exactly what is going on with the chapter jumping and no explanation of how anybody got where they were.

I am very confused by this book because it seems like the chapters on my audio version are not in order? This jumps around from the heroine shooting a kid and being put on leave to ending up in the desert looking for her younger brother and then back in her place. Then she apparently is privy to an FBI stakeout. I believe she gets knocked down and a rib broken but doesn't say how she got away.
