Lovely book with lots of banter, humor and slow burn.

Now a murder in a hotel which she was in the room next door bring them back together. It is awkward and they can't stand each other but there is some attraction there that needs to be ignored! The real story of why the case was dropped was not her fault, but he doesn't know it or about her father, a policeman who was killed which made her want to work for the district attorney's office. Lots of banter and snark.

A delightful lite romantic suspense about a lawyer and FBI agent who have a rocky past. She as assistant district atty was forced to drop his case on orders from her boss. He worked 2 yrs undercover and was shot...all for nothing and was sent to Nebraska for 3 yrs.
