yikes! this book's breathless relentless juggernaught pacing continues! just when i thought the core 5 or so characters were going to get some breathing room, calamity strikes! then more calamity for side characters. holy shit this book is good but very bleak and stressful in a non triggery way.i cannot wait to finish it!

aww yay! we finally find out for sure whether or not the zombies eat animals and gain a lovely lovable new character who is quite obviously a chekov's gun of some sort! imo. loving this book so much!

wowie this book is great and in george rr martin style no character is safe! do we have a murder mystery on our hands? are these zombies going to be able to be stopped? teenagers, no matter how savvy can still get the zombie infection by getting zombie bodily fluids in a cut! :/ RIP, character! you deserved to grow old!

HOLY CRAP!!! this book is absolutely getting 5 stars! the zombie apocalypse continues to get worse and we lose a lot of minor and side characters. its vaguely supernatural in origin, and usually i eyeroll at prophecy outside of fantasy books but somehow, this author put it in a zombie novel and it is working for me! ymmv ofc. what a great book. i only have 10 hours left per my kindle app, so i will finish it soon!

wow this book is thhe shit! we meet an elderly survivalist, lose some POV characters, and the situation gets worse WAAAAAAYYYY WORSE! these maybe supernatural, maybe viral zombies are ridiculous, but still romero style, not trioxin 80s style, thankfully!

holy moly this book is viciously good! at 26 percent on the kindle app thheres a bloody child/tween death off screen that another child/tween hears, then at 27 p[ercent another implied one! it seems we are moving out of the hhospital and the enclosed spaces! but apparentloy, this book is set in norway!!!! i thought it was a scandinavian settled part of minnesota because its so america coded!

holy crap! if you are claustrophobic do not read this book! yikes! there are several lengthy parts that take place in extremely close quarters, one in an air duct, another in a tiny pantry! with zombies menacing the entire time! horrifying! true non tortureporn horror. magnificent! sloooowwww claps all around.

wooowww! extended hospital outbreal scene. horrific and claustrophobic! i havent had such a reading experience since the black #3 by paul cooley! sooo good! on track for five stars!

oh neat! i should have figured out these zombies were gonna be the way they are because i found a prequel called draugr! once the action starts its an abbatoir! minor characters getting slaughtered each page! i take a break every 45 mins of reading, and just as i last stopped they were considering evacuating the hospital. will they succeed? i doubt not! this book is shaping up to be really fun!

ok so this book is already improving. the annoying characters turned out to be teenagers and theyre now zombie food! i loove when zombie novels try to look at the undead from a scientific angle! theres now a BSL-3 lab protocol in efffect so the author did some homework which i appreciate. the first gay character immediately gets killed so, poo for that! fun book so far! fast paced and gnarly not overly gruesome yay!
