wowwwwww i have read a lot a lot a lot of zombie horror over the decades but i must say i just read the most gruesome betrayal i've ever read in hundreds of books! this one character had been setting off my spidey sense for a while but then he pulled out this horrific fuckery. gross and evil but not triggery or anything. yikes. i wonder if this small group can continue onward? i'll find out tonight! great book! <3

wooowww! this series is ending with a suitably epic finale! how wonderfully magnificent! i will be finishing this book shortly and i hope the epilogue is fitting. one of my favorite characters got a most unexpected but non torturous end. RIP! please read this book series!

oh nice! we picked up a new character very late into the book! its a traumatized child, i hope they live through this zombie apocalypse i think i detect a finale being teased, but its the same one i think i picked up on at 40 percent. this book is sooo damn good! i really hope i finish it tonight, i "only" have 3 hours and change, left!

wow! i love tis author! in the middle of a zombie apocalypse with flesh eating zombies, th ral baddies are still psychopaths, cannibals and wife beaters. i love this author i will b reading all his books!

yikes! this book's breathless relentless juggernaught pacing continues! just when i thought the core 5 or so characters were going to get some breathing room, calamity strikes! then more calamity for side characters. holy shit this book is good but very bleak and stressful in a non triggery way.i cannot wait to finish it!

oh daaamn have i mentioned how awesome this book is??!!;) we had a "standoff and then in a refreshing change, a veritable miracle occurred that i will not elaborate on further to avoid spoilers. now i have no clue where the plot is going but i have a theory on how the book will end and that this zombie apocalypse will end at some point, lets see if i'm correct! yay!

wowie this book is great and in george rr martin style no character is safe! do we have a murder mystery on our hands? are these zombies going to be able to be stopped? teenagers, no matter how savvy can still get the zombie infection by getting zombie bodily fluids in a cut! :/ RIP, character! you deserved to grow old!

HOLY CRAP!!! this book is absolutely getting 5 stars! the zombie apocalypse continues to get worse and we lose a lot of minor and side characters. its vaguely supernatural in origin, and usually i eyeroll at prophecy outside of fantasy books but somehow, this author put it in a zombie novel and it is working for me! ymmv ofc. what a great book. i only have 10 hours left per my kindle app, so i will finish it soon!
