Amun has met other Tanu, this tribe are more ice fishers.

Kerrick has managed to talk to ruler of the yilani, in an attempt to stom Vainita from killing his people. The ruler has listened, and obeyed, but will Vainita?

The Yilani have found another tribe of theirs in a new part of the world, but in this tribe the male are the dominate ones.

Kerrick, and his wife and son have found the people that live in the icy cold of the north.

The daughter of death, a separate group of yilani. Have formed their own city, and are trying to live on their own.

Kerrick has traveled to where the old Yilani city once was, and found that the war is still going on, as Vanite has made it back.

The yilani are planning on taking back their city from the tanu, by force. Meanwhile Kerrick with the fargi continues to search for his wife.

Upon hearing what happened to his wife Armun, Kerrick begins to worry that his wife is dead. Meanwhile Kerrick decides to head back to the north with the Fargi (male yilani) cause he knows that the yilani are returning.
