The story has got better and the manor is beautiful to read about. Loving the slightly gotcha setting and the dreams that the main character is having in order to connect with the lost brides is interesting, too. Also loving the dual timeline and hearing about the women from the past who are connected to the mansion.

Ehhhh…this book had the potential to be really good. It has some parts that are great and the general idea is superb. I love the gothic atmosphere and the story line, absolutely. With that being said, there is so much irrelevant filler information and scenes that are not necessary. The characters are super cringe & unlikeable. Im about halfway (large print edition, borrowed) & unsure if I will finish the series.

The book is really good. I’m in part 2 as of this morning. I wanted to read a little before leaving for the day! I look forward to picking this back up tonight!! My goal is to read 100 pages per day. 📖

Starting out it’s just okay, I can’t wait to get further in the plot. So far it’s reminding me of a mix between a hallmark & lifetime movie. !!
