They say never judge a book by its cover but I’m still put off by
- PICTURES OF PEOPLE ON THE COVER. Throws off the whole vibe
- the blurb being a list of tropes
- an ugly font
- pages with weird texture
- the characters kissing on the cover (not a fan of stories that revolve 100% on the romance, you see)
- the cover being the show poster (🤮)

i js get icked seen real people on covers idk y 😭 like the spine looks pretty, so then i take the book of the shelf and the cover is a jumpscare
