Of course I skipped ahead to the Rothfuss. Fantastic story. I also enjoyed the Neil Gaiman story, and loved Scott Lynch's female band of retired thrives in a city ruled by warring wizards. He makes creating rich, complex and compelling worlds seem easy.

I am enjoying this tome of short stories. Loved the Joe Abercrombie, and the Gillian Flynn, both excellent examples of perfectly formed and engrossing stories. Did not enjoy at all the Joe R Lansdale - tuff guys rescue helpless girl cliche with no great story or character development. Trying to read in order and not skip ahead to Rothfuss and Gaiman.
