Aristotle said 3 levels of friend. 1 utility/work friends. 2 pleasure. Common activity or fun to be around. 3. ‘Perfect friends’. These are the friends in whom we see their inherent good, and they see ours. These are friends who are aware of their feelings for each other and take pleasure in that awareness. These friendships make us better people.
