It wants to speak to poor girls who want to escape into books but trying too hard to be relatable. There are references to books and instead of just letting those who know, get it. "I poke them with the point end like they said in Game of thrones!!" you don't have to call out where each quote is coming from and it makes poor references that don't hit, "ate raman for dinner for a week haha Im so poor"
