I'm enjoying this now! It does have more fantasy than a romance so far, which is what I prefer, and I genuinely disagree with people who think the writing is too flowery, I'm finding it very easy to read. I have my issues here and there still, but I'm confident I'll finish this with more positive feelings than negative, unless it really starts to go downhill

This is fine so far. It is annoying me how she randomly spells words differently like 'dae' because idk fantasy I guess. I love etymology and language used in fantasy but it needs to be done for a reason. It also irks me how its male and female instead of man and woman. Just reminds me of incels when she says she 'hates that female'.

I craved fantasy and had this on kindle so why not give it a try, so far I'm liking it fine, the writing isn't as flowery and annoying as people have led me to believe, but I might just be more used to lyrical writing. I'm trying to find a romantasy that has a good developed fantasy world and thought this could be a possibility. We'll see how it goes!
