CLIMAX: The climax is when Belly confronts Conrad about how he likes her and she likes him. He says she is nothing to him, and that she is too childish for him to love her. However, Belly argues and it is clear that the mixed signals all summer have led up to this. It also becomes clear that Jeremiah is sticking up for Belly. Belly acts later based on this argument and confrontation where all emotions are unleased.
