Why is everybody romanticizing Heathcliff? He is not a sweet, charming, lovable man. Instead, he is a toxic, narcissistic, and abusive human being. Or maybe that's just the way Brontë describes him? I don't know, but he doesn't feel like the type of guy everyone seems to mistake him for.
