The author wrote an awesome suspenseful foreshadow in the last paragraph of page 96. "...he didn't bother to investigate the cavern properly. If he had, he would have spotted the stark white animal bones around the stony shoreline: bones of the animals that had made the tracks in the passageway. Bones of the last creatures to visit that place". It foreshadows that Rush would have to meet something, a deadly creature.

I would recommend this book who loves A LOT of action and suspense and things that include superpowers or science-fiction things. Two social issues that I came across in this novel are economic inequality since there's a political separation between the Mutants and the Pures. The Pures has a higher social than the mutants. Another social issue I found is Conflict and Corruption since there's a lot of fighting.

This chapter has a lot of vocabularies that I have trouble with e.g.
reinvigorate, which means to give new energy or strength to and ravage; cause damage or severe. I predict, from noticing a bit of repetition so far, that Rush would have to meet more and more companions on the way to City Six. I think that these companions would also be mutants like him. But I'm wondering what are his powers (since he's a mutant).

For each chapter, the author would but one character name as a "chapter title", which was, for me, useful. It was useful because the character name was the "main character" for that chapter. So the chapter's name was "Brick" (the chapter I'm currently on) and I suddenly felt happy because I was waiting for the author to start a chapter about him because the author described him as someone with healing factors.

From where I stopped, it was pretty suspenseful. Since Tia had broken one of the rules which would get her killed, she did this so that she escaped the city so she can sneakily enter the Mutant Getto. Also, Tia reminds me of the Disney character, Aladdin because both characters had a pet companion a monkey. Overall, I really love this book because mainly, it is sci-fiction and it includes superpowered people.
