Started at the beach but it’s not rlly a beach book - or at least I didn’t get to the beachy part before leaving the beach. Also kinda got annoyed in chapter one. I’m not super fond of contemporary authors comparing their characters to those in classic lit or other iconic stories bc 1. It does essentially spoil the plot 2. Feels unoriginal and slightly cheating
