oh my goodness wth did I just read. I couldn’t help but cringe at the ending of chapter 20: “She takes my hand. She leads me to her bed. She draws me down with her. ‘Let’s burn together,’ she breathes.” Seriously Auri? Kal literally told you about all of his family problems and this is your response? I miss Zila.

Scarlett walking Kal like a dog had me laughing (silently). But where the heck did Zila go? Also I’m proud to say my prediction that Zila was a lesbian was correct. Scarlett’s response to that revelation was exactly what I was thinking. I would’ve thought Zila was aroace but I had a gut feeling she was a lesbian.
