Grumpy x Sunshine incarnate.

With as many times as they have Wolf mock Red in books like this when they first meet, it really highlights the times when he doesn’t.

One being Ze'ev from “Lunar Chronicles”; whenever he was around his Red, he always spoke in a soft tone.

I think it's interesting that with all the books like this and all the characters designed to be Wolf, the one that stands out the most to me is the one that doesn’t mock Red.

This story took off very quickly, and it's really good so far.

My only complaint is that it doesn't feel like sci-fi at the moment, like the story could either take or leave the sci-fi category.

So I'm waiting to see if it will stay that way or if it will gain a few more elements for the genre.

Pre-thoughts: I have never heard of this book or this series, so I have no idea what to expect, but I’ve always been a fan of fairy retellings, especially Red Riding Hood.

I found this book and the others while looking at another book, and these interested me way more than the book I was considering.

They all just look like a lot of fun, and I really hope that’s the case. 🐺❤️🧺
