“No,” Miss Plim agreed.

Alex turned, one hand still on the wheel, the other on his hip, to frown at the man. “Bixby, did you kidnap another Protestant so you could debate transubstantiation with them while I was out?”
“Not today, sir.”

“Married, in her advanced years, and moreover when she is independently wealthy! Women should only became wives if they have nothing better to do. Granted, Darlington is a pirate, therefore prone to stupid behavior. But altogether this modern trend for romance is quite ridiculous.”

At the moment I would like more witches and less sex. But tomorrow I might change my mind.
