I had to give up on mentally mapping out the halls and vestibules by like journal entry #5 😂

It’s a lot! I think the journal entry style is hard for me when my brain isn’t in it. Please tell me it gets better?
The world building and character of Piranesi were the best parts of the book (in my opinion). As far as navigating the labyrinth, it’s suppose to be disorienting. I think the purpose of that is to give you a greater appreciation of Piranesi’s ability to navigate it. The whole book comes back to Piranesi’s emotional and physical perspective. So don’t sweat trying to understand all the directions or calendar records.
