I feel like I’m being exposited at through poorly written character dialogue.

Oh. My. Word. 🫣🫣🫣

Kill me. Not another poorly inserted flashback scene.

Say it with me: real people do not act, think, or speak like this. Real people are not this clairvoyant about their friends’ thoughts. Real people with intelligence also aren’t this dumb. Classic author knows things and has a goal, so she puts far too much of that into the characters, thus resulting in there being no chance I’d believe any of this.

Literally none of these characters feel realistic.
