There’s always an aspect of the sensationalism of these kinds of scenarios that I can never quite grasp. I’m not a born and raised New Yorker in the 80s, but it just seems bizarre that even at the time it would seem so obvious to people that this was wrong. It’s clear to us now even. So how is it never clear to these juries? What did they say in that courtroom or say, Rodney King’s, to make it seem reasonable

Already an interesting proposal:the gains of the New Deal were opposed by Ronald Reagan. The democratic goal of capitalism’s salvation undone by the realization of equal rights, which has led us into the current age of those same new deal promises being wiped out!
