Two hours of war, blood, guts & horror followed by an impossible love story that had me sad, happy, hoping, angry, bitter and left me feeling despondent.

WTF is happening to me? How is one expected to sleep 🤓😫?

I've spotted some kindness finally. Not a lot. But a bit.

message 1: by Norma (new)

Norma Peters I do hope you are enjoying this novel. When I read it I had difficulties having to put it down to do a few hours of adulting. A magnificent book .

Brad Barlow Such a good book but damn it was effing grim

message 3: by Maria (new)

Maria Almaguer An excellent book but painfully graphic at times.

Mark Porton Hey Norma, Brad and Maria - I am having trouble putting this one down too and can't wait to pick it up again when I do. I was riveted by an election for a Monk in a Priory last night - how does that happen?? 😂
