1. Only one mention of Scott so far and no Svetlana? ABSOLUTELY NOT. I am unfortunately too brainwashed by the series.
2. The series is better. The only thing the book is adding for me is insight in their thoughts. Luckily I am an absolute sucker for those.

Also, and I can't believe I'm saying this, a little bit less smut would have been better. THEY.DO.IT.IN.EVERY.CHAPTER.
