I think I’m either in a romantic cynicism phase OR I’m an unempathetic grinch unmoved by the plight of an insecure FMC with low self esteem OR authors just aren’t writing them well enough for me to care about their story and journey. Either way I’m not having an awful time but my experience reading this is prompting some self reflection…
