I’m starting to come around on Wallace slightly. I still would rank his as my least favorite of the main cast but he’s improving as a character. This book is genuinely fantastic though

I have a suspicion that this story is very personal for this author. It’s such a tough subject matter but Mei, Hugo, Nelson, and even Apollo are absolutely carrying this story. I still do not like Wallace at all and probably won’t come around to him even by the end but wow the supporting cast is incredible

Really unfortunate that the protagonist of this book so far is completely insufferable. I imagine there will be some kind of redemption arc as the story progresses but he’s genuinely so unlikeable so far I’m not sure it’s going to change my opinion. The other characters are fantastic though!
