Have your weird sex things, your drug addictions, your nightly black-outs from alcohol, your absence of care for anything meaningful, whatever... that's not my problem here. What disgusts me is the acceptance of this as normality from all the readers. Its like reading disgustingly toxic feminism, and realising that everyone agrees. Can you just have some values that you didn't inherit from social media, please?

All day long I try to defend the brightness and positivity and kindness and purity and respect in the world that none of my friends believe in, and then this book goes and undoes it all.
