yeah i discovered this too when i was doing some reshelving last summer and all of a sudden got "so-and-so liked your update for Book X that you read seven years ago" lolol.
It's quite annoying. I was simply moving from one TBR shelf to another. Nobody wants hundreds of reshelvings to go out to their feed. That is completely insane. But you know... Gotta add that mandatory DNF shelf. >_>
