Supporting Characters: From page like. 20 all the way to 153, the book is giving introductions and stories of side characters along the way. I'm making connections with how the characters align to affect the story. Like how Miggery Sow is the "daughter" of the prisoner with the red tablecloth. Or how the rat Roscuro was the cause of the queen's death, that's why soup is outlawed, and why the prisoner still has bowls.

SETTING: The setting of the story takes place in a royal castle, where there is a secret rat coloration living in the walls and floors. They do mention a dungeon where there's big rats, so I assume they'll go there pretty soon. Up to my page, it took place in Princess Pea's room, and the king, aka her father, was singing songs to her. Despereaux was just chilling in a hole in the wall before going on the floor.
