I can’t put this down! It’s even more beautifully written and emotionally wrenching than I remembered. The slowly building angst is so good! And Christy, the vicar hero, is the most wonderful person. I just love him.

I spoke too soon about the lack of drama and angst in this book! :'(

This isn't turning out to be quite the overwrought, forbidden-love melodrama I was hoping it would be, unless something is about to happen and change that. I need more angst! Lovely writing, though. I like Gaffney's style.
If only the hero wasn't blonde. :P

Beautifully, intelligently written and shaping up to be deliciously angsty. Blame it on Ralph de Bricassart, but I have a real soft spot for stories of forbidden priestly love. At least this guy's a C of E vicar, not a Roman Catholic priest. Still...
Love the heroine. Love the hero, who isn't offputting in spite of being religious. The heroine's husband is awful, but in a very realistic way.
So far, so good.
