i am liking this book, but also the way demeter is acting towards the nymphs after core went missing is atrocious. yes, the nymphs let her explore on her own, but she is a grown ass goddess who asked to do so. it is not the nymphs fault that your daughter has been lying. demeter never truly saw them as sisters or children like she claimed, but as servants/slaves or she wouldn’t have reacted as she did to them
