Ok, it also kind of annoys me that he spells “fuckin’” like “fucken,” instead. Fuckin’ is short for fucking, where is the “e” in that?

I’m so sick of reading about fucking coin tricks. I know there is meaning behind it and that it’s a facet of the main character (with a ridiculous name), but it’s tedious and annoying.

My review of this book was a solid 3 overall. Like I liked the story but I found gaiman so pretentious. But I highly recommend Good Omens, which also has Terry Pratchett’s voice too

Cassie - Yes, I kind of feel like this book is trying to be more than his capability, if that makes any sense, lol. I like it and the premise is interesting, but I also kind of feel like it takes itself a little too seriously (again, if that makes sense). Like, I feel like this was written by someone who would scoff at Stephen King because they view themselves as a More Serious Writer. (I think Stephen King could have done better with this premise, honestly.)
