I don't know if it's because of the narrator or because I am listening to it in English when I listened to the Kingsbridge series in German but somehow this doesn't feel like a Follett novel. Did he use a ghost writer or something? So weird because I enjoyed 'The Armour of Light' a lot which was his last book right before this one.
