I’m worried this is headed into biblically accurate hallmark-movie-about-woman-with-big-city-dreams-realizing-small-town-living-is-more-her-speed-after-a-brief-stint-in-a-big-city territory and honestly I didn’t realize we were still doing that after Book Lovers came out. Also when I say I’m worried, I’m mostly worried this is all very specific to me and is a cautionary tale about wanting to live in a city

I know for a fact an old person is going to die by the end of the book and I’m very upset abt it. Also I fear when I said this is a super normal relatable love story it was because the guy seems like a normal guy in that he’s kinda “no thoughts, head empty”. Like I get the point of the book is for the girl to chill and be content, but also the guy never having thoughts abt the future stresses me out so much

This is actually really sweet. I always wish that romance stories were a bit more normal, and that they just depicted how people meet and crush and develop feelings and fall in love in a more realistic way, and this does that. It’s very cute and has the whole wordle thing (also wordle and F1 being mentioned in the same book is crazy, why am I the man in this book) but it’s also very normal and relatable
