Me: gulp!

So part III is a continuous arc about Adam Quinn so far, in contrast to the loosely connected chapters in the previous parts. And III.2 is basically Pluribus. Cool, cool.

Jeez, "Case Hate Red" was a downer. And we thought Quinn would be safe. But apparently his story continues immediately in the next chapter!

"And the memory of the operation dissipates, once again, like vapor." Well that's depressing. How do you combat an idea that makes you forget it? And thus ends part 2. Now for the giant final act.

Wtf is Quinn up to provoking U-3125?!

Gah, chap 2.2 "Where Have You Been All My Life" just destroyed me. Poor, poor Quinn. You are taking more of a beating than Collins did to Katniss, only you share in the agency.

And that last story ("Immemorial", Oli Morgan's tale) ends on such a gut punch. This one's been haunting me for a week.

Chap 2.1 Immemorial: "An idea is alive. It can mutate, it can replicate, it can predate on other ideas…and it can hide." Oh this book. My brain is expanding into a new orthogonality.
