Somehow [redacted topic] is present in most of my favorite books in a certain genre, I’m against it in real life, but what it stands as a metaphor for and the symbolism it creates in female characters calls to me in literature, to the point of it being a constant theme I’ve noticed in many of my favorites. So this is hitting.
