She needs to experience an epiphany to be able to open a portal? I knew where this was going and honestly I’m so bad because up until this point I was thinking about how great the book is and how great the author is for not dragging the romance into the main plot. But somehow it manages to come back to romance. OH COME ON. And how convenient that she’s got a hot guy on hand to kiss. OH PLEASE 😭
