I feel like everyone keeps harping on the idea that Martin will realize he likes Lucy eventually because they believe that Martin is Lucy’s only chance at getting a man. I think people look at Lucy’s tomboy nature and believe that if Martin doesn’t come to her she will never attract another man. Which is similar to how Lucy seems to feel about the situation.

The way that this is a complete 180 from reading Fabulous Bodies lol. I’m only 18 pages in and I already feel like I’m being crushed by something heavy. I think I really like lit fic…
