Where to even start? Maris is trying to get back so Luca by joining the opposite army... He's trying to figure out who he is in his legion, who he wants to vs who he's allowed to be and mixed emotions over sending Maris away. Both are fighting against fate but hopeful there is something good still in tragedy...

I am a fan of all the Adrienne Young Books I read. I know Book 1 was a little hard to get into with all the world building and politics but once I had people to root for I was hooked.
This picks up right where The first book left off our couple on opposite sides of a war.
