Two hours of war, blood, guts & horror followed by an impossible love story that had me sad, happy, hoping, angry, bitter and left me feeling despondent.
WTF is happening to me? How is one expected to sleep 🤓😫?

I've spotted some kindness finally. Not a lot. But a bit.

So much aggravation, why can't they all just sing songs, play twister, have a laugh and get along?

Mark - I thought I was the only person on the planet who had not read this. What do you think so far?

Loving it Ann, hahaha you have company - have your read this (using the GR app on my phone and cant see if you have)? Have your read the prequel.Im loving this one. Still 600+ pages to go!!!!!
I have not read it. "Everyone" tells me I should read it. Probably I really should!!! I look forward to your thoughts, Mark. Also, Mark and Diane - I am reading All the Kings Men. It is very southern and so far very good. The writing is wonderful as are the characters. As a child I met the author (Robert Penn Warren) a number of times, but I didn't really "get" who he was at the time. Now I'm really "getting it", and I only wish so very many years hadn't passed. I'm just mentioning this because for me it is a very good sequel to Faulkner.
