Eva and Eric communicate. He tells her one night she’s beautiful and it’s too much for her. She confessed to Denise she loves him.

Eric manages to track down Ava and call her and they catch up. He’s a big rockstar and he let it go that she fell out of contact with him. They plan to get together in Nashville after Christmas.

Danny locates Eva after looking her up from the Rolling Stone article on Eric, and finds her by phone call. He admits he saw her recently and she tells him off.

So Aaron cheated on Eva and they are divorced. Eva is having vulnerablity hangovers from the Rolling Stone phone interview.

Danny became a record exec and finds himself in Nashville. He regrets that he left Eva when he got tired of Eric’s shit like he did. He sees Eva come in, and recognizes her, and then sees her family. He slinks off.

Aaron and Eva get married and pregnant, and Eva drops off Eric’s radar. A few years later with two kids, she’s in Nashville and sees Eric is engaged to a blonde starlet around Thanksgiving. Aaron continually pushes Eva to resign from her job, and he finally guilts her into it.

Eva ends up missing Eric when he comes to Chicago, because she’s going on a trip with her friends. Eva and Aaron go to Nashville to meet his family and she worries she doesn’t fit in. Later, Aaron proposes after Denise explains she’s pregnant.

Eva rear ends a BMW with a handsome young Lawyer driving. He end up asking her out and his name is Aaron. The next chapter has her leaving a message for Denise about her new relationship, even though she had some flutters for Erik.

This chapter was correspondences between Eva and Erik. Eric has gotten sober and he took a chance on working on some stuff and got a solo record deal.

Eva sees Eric in rehab and he’s the guy she remembers. He was numbing his pain, and tells her he’s going back to Chicago. He encourages her to go back home too.
