notes: this feels like straight revenge fantasy. the author seems to have a certain ideal ending for their characters in mind, and everything just streams this way while relying on extreme gender politics in the first place to justify that streaming. i would love to see more on the state of general revolution instead of zetian's straight prowess. rushed romances. also this shouldn't be classed as YA imo
