Hello new fans and friends,
This book is okay but i think I am a bit confused what the story is about and if there maybe was a prior book?
Not sure, also: it says "blood-wet" on the cover and so far, blood has not been spilled really.
Hoping this gets a bit more dark because mama misses her spooky season

"we work with similar intent he, the apothecary, and I, but only I will be condemned if something goes awry, apothecaries live, witches die."
If men want to help with medicine he is godsent but if women did it, they're witches.
