I love the Raven. He has such diva energy.

It's been a long time I felt this way about a fantasy book.

I'm enjoying that it is written from the Raven's point of view. I find it quite intriguing.
As for the plot itself, I can't deny it is strange to read typical swear words in a fantasy setting. The scene where Yana's mother comes out of prison with her baby sister "born in the dark and brought to light" reminded me of The Scarlet Letter.
