this may be ome one of the hardest book to get thru, the violence inflicted on 6 year old hibo is acc so insane that I can never read few more pages at a time. I can't believe FGM is a practise in the 2026. Purity culture is acc the root of so much extreme misgony. I a finding it so hard not to think of her family as evil bc I know the intent is not but I find it hard to comprehend people think FGM is reasonable..
