How do you invite someone over to hang out at your place (specifically for a 1:1 bass lesson) without making the whole thing sound like an euphemism for hooking up help (mind you, this is about a guy I already have some weird homoerotic going on with anyway)

Take a photo of your bass and just say, "Can you teach me how to play this song/technique?"
Say you’ll give him food, EVERYONE loves food
@Jiji generally good idea but it’s actually about me teaching him (I’m the only one of us who has a bass and knows how to play), I’ve shown him a few things in music class but he said something about a quieter environment probably being better for this stuff because his friends keep talking right next to him 🙂↕️

Just be straightforward and say "Do you mind coming over to teach me how to play the bass? I'm confused on (idk put something)"I'm sure nothing seems suspicious of the statement?
@rory nothing to apologise for, that is in fact my ulterior motive for teaching him to play bass, just gotta build up to it first

Emphasise teaching him bass in a quieter environment like he said, and discuss the plan: teach bass and eat food. Just make the plan crystal clear so there's no euphemism energy or whatever in it😭
